CSGO can't connect to my LAN server somehow

Postby BackRaw » Mon Sep 03, 2012 11:12 pm

Hi,

Every time I want to connect to my server I get rejected, because the client has been updated lately and the server is "up to date" according to SteamCMD, but it is not actually.
Since I can't update my server that way, I'm getting errors printed to the server console like

Code: Select all

VAC secure mode is activated.
MasterRequestRestart
Your server will be restarted on map change.
Whenever I change the map, the server gets restarted after 10 seconds as promised. But at startup I get this weird error saying

Code: Select all

WARNING: Could not locate steam dir:, ignoring.
which we could simply fix by adding -steambin <path> using SRCDS.

Is there any parameter for CS:GO that does the same? Can't such on https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Command_Line_Options

Thanks in advance =)

Solved... just tried SteamCMD after a few minutes again, must've been the Steam Servers. Sorry =)
