Nightly builds

Postby Omega_K2 » Mon Aug 20, 2012 11:14 am

Not sure how viaable it is to setup, but I think that would be a good addition.

So we always have a current build (as long building succeeds) and people don't have to try to go though the build process themselves. Especially as the changes are coming in fast doing this manually seems like a hassle to me, so everyone wins? :P

We have discussed adding a build bot, but we just are not there yet. When we get to that point, I am sure we will make an announcement!

Yep, it would definitely be super useful. We need two physical servers to do this. One for linux and one for windows. I believe Monday is going to lend us a Windows server (I think). I can use our web server as a build bot for linux (since it's dedicated).
