[SP] Version: 700 for [BMS]

Apparently there are problems if you want to use SP for BMS.

Can anyone help here ?

That's just a warning, not an error, about something being deprecated in a 3rd-party package included with SP. Does something not work for you outside of this?

Yes, if SP is loaded you will not be able to access the server. ( You can not join )

Try to update the package mutagen. I guess they fixed this warning.

No, I wouldn't update it manually. We will need to do that in the SP code base and make sure updating doesn't cause us any issues.

It's not a problem for a user to replace on his machine one dependency of source python and this won't affect your master.
If it does not work -> users problem

The warning should not affect the code execution.

It seems like the server is crashing when SP is loaded and a player joins. If I remove SP, I am able to join the server just fine. My test that crashed was just SP loaded, no SP scripts themselves were loaded. We'll have to figure out what is causing the crash and get it fixed.

That's not entirely true. If we are using some code that causes the DeprecationWarning, and that code is actually deprecated in the newer version, it won't give a warning, but instead raise an error. Warnings in general, and especially DeprecationWarnings, are normally fine and can be ignored. When you go to update the package, that's where they come into play. I'm not saying that is what this specific instance is, as I believe I have seen it before and it was just that another library we use used a deprecated functionality. So really, we would need to update both packages to make sure everything works correctly. But, again, the warning itself doesn't harm anything and for now can just be ignored. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to manually update a 3rd-party package shipped with SP.

It crashes when the internal hook on Player.run_command is being registered because the dispatch tables were outdated. Should be fixed into 46bf8f5.

I have downloaded from the download directory

Newly downloaded and have (http://wiki.sourcepython.com/general/updating.html)
the applied.

Unfortunately HLSW does not recognize BMS to make a sp update via the console.

My Open Game Panel does not have a direct console to perform an update.

So I used the old method.
Unfortunately there is now the problem that the server restarts every 10 seconds.
